The 2nd annual Digital Learning Day took place on February 6th, 2013, and was a huge success! Thank you to all of the teachers and students who participated.
What is Digital Learning Day?
You can read more about the initiative at www.digitallearningday.org. The goal of Digital Learning Day is to raise awareness of digital learning and the huge impact it can have on students. We can offer you suggestions, but the sky is the limit. We are asking that you try at least one new thing with students and have them actively create something digital. It doesn’t have to be individually; they can work in groups if you are more comfortable with that.
When does it take place?
Wednesday, February 6th, 2013; all day

Okay, I have an idea! Now what?
Once you have an idea, please post your plans on the Project Ideas blog (this is the same page as last year, so feel free to look through the posts to get more ideas). Make sure you are signed in to the website (network username/password), and then you should see an “Add” button at the bottom. Make sure to include your name, school, grade level, project idea, and time of day you will be implementing the project on February 6th.
Along with the blog, after February 6th, please upload a student work sample to the Student Work Samples page. Again, make sure you are signed in, go to this page, and click Add at the bottom. These will be great examples to inspire others to try new things.
