Carol Tumey is an adjunct education professor at Franklin College. She is also a graduate of Franklin College and Indiana University.
Tumey spent her 40-year career at Center Grove as a teacher, coach, and athletic administrator. During her tenure, she received the Indiana Athletic Administrator of the Year, Regional Athletic Administrator of the Year, and National Girls Track Coach honors. She has received numerous accolades for her role in developing one of the first high school girls’ sports programs, including the Silver Medal award from the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame and induction into the Franklin College Hall of Fame, Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame, and Indiana Track and Field Hall of Fame.
Tumey has held several leadership positions on the school board during her seven-year tenure and is currently president. She represents Center Grove on several community groups and serves on several boards, including the Franklin College Board of Trustees and Athletic Hall of Fame, the Indiana Interscholastic Athletic Administrative Association, and the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrative Association. Tumey is also a member of the executive committees for the Indiana Track and Cross Country Coaches Hall of Fame and the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame.
Tumey and her husband Dale are avid sports fans and enjoy attending Center Grove varsity sporting events, along with musical programs and academic competitions.
Adam Norman is a lifelong resident of the Center Grove area and he is a 1990 graduate of Center Grove High School. He received a B.S. in Business from Indiana University in 1994, with a minor in psychology and East Asian studies. In 1997, he received his Doctor of Jurisprudence from Indiana University School of Law – Indianapolis. He was admitted to practice law in 1997.
His career has been spent in public service. He was a deputy prosecutor with the Tippecanoe County Prosecutor’s Office for over five years. He was also a deputy prosecutor with the Bartholomew County Prosecutor’s Office for over seven years. His legal expertise is in family law and specifically child support.
He is currently the Senior Manager with the Department of Child Services - Child Support Bureau.
He lives in the Center Grove area with his wife, Amy, who is also a 1990 graduate of Center Grove. They have four sons, all of whom attend Center Grove schools.

Rob Richards is a 1972 graduate of Center Grove where he lettered in basketball, football, golf, and tennis as well as participated in several school service organizations.
Rob graduated from Purdue University with a B.S. in Mathematics and a M.S. in Mathematics Education from Indiana University.
After teaching math and coaching high school football for three years at Center Grove H.S., he went into the telecom industry where he had a successful career. Rob has returned to his families’ farm to help with the business acumen needed in today’s agriculture business.
Rob is married to Marianna Kegley Richards, a 1970 Center Grove grad. Rob’s children, Eric (’94), Aaron (‘97) and Ashley (’99) are CG grads as well. He also have five grandchildren in Center Grove schools or headed there in the next few years.

Scott Alexander is a 1991 graduate of Center Grove High School and lifelong Center Grove resident. He received his bachelor’s degree from Purdue University.
Alexander is the director of information technology for AIT Laboratories. He also serves as a firefighter and EMT for the White River Township Fire Department. Alexander joined Center Grove’s Board of School Trustees in 2010. For the last four years, he has also been a member of the Center Grove Education Foundation.Alexander and his wife, Dana, have two sons who attend Center Grove Schools. In his spare time, he enjoys playing golf.
Jack Russell is a long time resident of the Center Grove community. He and his wife, Brenda, both graduated from Center Grove High School in 1974. Jack is also a graduate of Purdue University where he studied Elementary Education. After Purdue, Jack attended Butler University to study dance and acting.
After graduation, Jack spent time traveling the country doing live shows at theme parks and dinner theaters. During that time, he would also substitute teach in the local school system. After a few years working as general manager in his family’s real estate and development business, Jack returned to the world of education to teach full-time. He also spent time substitute teaching while raising his son, Austin, whom he and his wife adopted from Paraguay. Austin is a 2013 Center Grove graduate.
Jack has been an active member of the Center Grove Education Foundation. He is also involved with the Center Grove Alumni and Friends group. Jack was elected to the Center Grove Board of School Trustees in 2010 and has served in various leadership positions, including as president in 2013.
