The mission of the Center Grove Community School Corporation Food and Nutrition Services Department is to provide nutritionally balanced meals according to the USDA National School Breakfast and Lunch requirements at a reasonable cost to students, staff and guests. Our goal is to provide nutritious, child-focused meals that comply with the USDA Dietary Guidelines based on Nutrient Standard Menu Planning.
MEAL PRICES
Meal prices for the 2020-2021 school year are as follows:Breakfast Prices (Applies to all schools)
Student Breakfast: $1.50
Reduced Breakfast: $0.30
Staff/Adult Visitor Breakfast: $2.00Elementary Lunch Prices
Student Lunch: $2.30
Reduced Lunch: $0.40
Staff/Adult Visitor Lunch: $3.25Secondary Lunch Prices

Staff/Adult Visitor Lunch: $3.25Meal prices are established to cover food and non-food expenses, staff benefits and labor expenses, and equipment repair and replacement. The food service department is self-supporting and does not receive money from the general fund.
UNPAID ACCOUNT PROCEDURESCenter Grove's Food and Nutrition Department has adopted a formal procedure to address unpaid meal charges. The USDA mandated all federal school meal programs adopt similar procedures by July 1, 2017. The procedure is included in all CG Schools 2020-21 handbooks and at this link.The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) prohibits discrimination against its customers, employees, and applicants for employment on the bases of race, color, national origin, age, disability, sex, gender identity, religion, reprisal, and where applicable, political beliefs, marital status, familial or parental status, sexual orientation, or all or part of an individual's income is derived from any public assistance program, or protected genetic information in employment or in any program or activity conducted or funded by the Department. (Not all prohibited bases will apply to all programs and/or employment activities.)
