    The CGCSC Teaching & Learning Department is hosting a series of Parent Seminars this year to share with parents the progress of collaborative efforts to improve student learning through a fundamental change to the way we are approaching teaching and learning. These efforts center around collaboration and focus on student learning, professional learning, and results, so that all students can learn at high levels.


    SEMINAR #1: TUESDAY, OCTOBER 9, 2018

    • The Center Grove model for collaboration: What is a Professional Learning Community and how does that impact my child’s classroom?
    • An opportunity for all students to learn: What is a Guaranteed and Viable Curriculum and how can we avoid the educational lottery?
    • Trust Based Relational Intervention: How are we supporting the social/emotional needs of all students?
