The Motion Analysis Program at Indiana University Health provides a clear, detailed picture of how you move in space to assist in rehabilitation following an injury, injury prevention, performance enhancement, or as pre-surgical planning. Motion Analysis utilizes advanced technology including high-speed optical cameras, UV cameras, force plates and electromyography (EMG). That picture can then be slowed down, viewed from different angles, and compared with ground reaction forces and muscle activation patterns to better assess movement quality; none of which are possible with the naked human eye.
IU Health motion analysis services include: Pediatric Motion Analysis, Return to Sport Motion Analysis Assessments, Injury Prevention Motion Analysis Screening, Performance Based Adult Motion Analysis
High school athletes and athletic trainers from Indianapolis area high schools demostrate how to do common strength and conditioning exercise techniques. ACL prevention exercises, static stretching techniques, ankle range of motion exercises and more.
