• PLAYGROUND RENOVATIONS

    Center Grove will renovate the playgrounds of all five elementary schools during the summer/fall of 2018.

    Existing playgrounds will be removed and new equipment and a rubberized surface will be installed. Depending on the weather, the work should be complete before the start of school. 

    During these renovations, the playgrounds will be closed to the public. 

    The cost of the renovations will be paid from remaining funds from the Walnut Grove Elementary project. Bids for that project came in under budget, which allowed the Board to complete other needed projects. Due to the age and condition of the existing equipment and the method used to remove it, there is a liability for the school corporation to donate this equipment. Every piece of equipment was inspected by our certified playground inspector along with the manufacturer to determine the condition prior to laying out the new playgrounds.
