Not all students learn the same way or progress at the same rate, but all students come from different backgrounds and live with different circumstances that affect them in one way or another. SYCGA recognizes this and embraces the need for a non-traditional school setting in order to accommodate current Center Grove students who are struggling in the traditional school.
In cooperation with high school counselors and two assistant principals, students are reviewed to see if SYCGA is the right fit for them. SYCGA students are still Center Grove High School students and may still attend and participate in all of the normal high school functions after normal school hours like athletics, dances, and clubs!
