  • Center Grove schools will offer two instructional delivery models for the 2020-21 school year: CG Traditional School and CG Virtual School.

Parents may choose which format they prefer for each of their students, based on each student's learning style and personal or family health considerations.

Illness/Quarantine: If a student enrolled in the Traditional option and is absent due to illness or quarantine, make-up work is expected to be completed and procedures will function as they have in the past. He/she will not be switched to CG Virtual. Secondary teachers may use Canvas to provide work for students; however, parents may still need to pick up work at the school. Elementary teachers may also use Canvas to support students in addition to sending homework. Please communicate with your child's teacher to determine expectations for make-up work.

  • If a student is quarantined, how will he/she receive classwork? Will the student be allowed to do eLearning?

  • What will a 'typical day' look like for CG Virtual School?

  • Will there be social aspects built in to online learning?

  • Will there be a parent support guide/resources to help parents teach new material to their children for the virtual school?

  • Will online learning be required during certain parts of the day?

  • Will there be electives available in Virtual School?

  • What will the curriculum be for students in the Virtual option?

  • Who will be teaching the virtual programs?
