    Filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Assistance)

    • Sign up for a PIN number in order to complete the online FAFSA Click Here
    • Complete FAFSA after October 1st so that it is received by the federal processor on or before March 10 (FAFSA Online)
    • Print and keep a copy of the submitted FAFSA
    • Print and keep a copy of the submission confirmation page if submitting FAFSA online
    • 4 weeks after filing FAFSA, you should receive your Student Aid Report. If you do not receive your SAR, call 1-800-4FEDAID
    • If necessary, attend College Goal Sunday for additional help on completing the FAFSA. Find a location nearest you at www.collegegoalsunday.org
