    STAY HOME WHEN SICK - WASH HANDS OFTEN


    FACE COVERINGS/MASKS

    MaskREQUIRED for all students, staff inside schools during the school day.
    REQUIRED for visitors/volunteers during the school day and during indoor events after school.
    REQUIRED for students involved in indoor extra/co-curricular activities when not actively participating or performing.
    REQUIRED BY FEDERAL MANDATE for everyone on school buses.


    SOCIAL DISTANCING

    Social DistancingClassrooms to observe 3' of social distancing when possible. Elementary cafeterias may reduce social distancing with a goal of 3' distance where possible. Secondary will return to normal with distancing 3' when possible. 6' spacing when possible for activities with increased exhalation.


    VOLUNTEERS/VISITORS/RENTALS

    Hands“School day” visitors and volunteers are required to wear face coverings. Visitors/volunteers will be limited. Visitors for indoor events outside the school day will be required to wear masks. Lunch-time visitors will not be allowed. Building rentals may continue.


    ENHANCED CLEANING

    Spray bottleEnhanced 3-step cleaning practices will continue in all school buildings and on school buses with special attention to high-touch areas, including water fountains and restrooms.


    EXTRA/CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

    Football & Music NoteStudents involved in extra-curricular & co-curricular activities will wear a mask when not actively participating or performing. Spectators and non-participants for indoor events/activities will also be required to wear masks.


    CONTACT TRACING/QUARANTINES

    COVIDAll positive cases will be required to isolate. Identified close contacts will be required to quarantine per IDH and may return per CGCSC Quarantine Guidelines


    eLEARNING/BLENDED LEARNING

    eLearning3 or more positive cases in a classroom: Entire classrooms could be quarantined/ moved to eLearning.
    20% COVID-RELATED ABSENCES in SCHOOL*: Individual buildings could move to eLearning. Secondary could move to a blended model with cohorts alternating in-person and eLearning.

    *Move to eLearning/Blended could also occur if CGCSC does not have the necessary staff.
