CENTER GROVE HS (Academic Pavilion addition, Instructional Hitting Facility)
CGHS ACADEMIC PAVILION
Construction is underway on the first phase of the Center Grove Academic Pavilion. This addition to CGHS is three stories (50,000 total SF) located on the west side of the High School, adjacent to the new natatorium. This project will add 18 academic classrooms, a collaboration space, and a secondary food court. This project also includes additional security cameras, additional space for the bus parking lot, and additional visitor/student parking. To make room for this project, the Professional Resource Center (old Maple Grove building) was torn down. The project will cost $19,750,000 and will not impact the tax rate for White River Township taxpayers. Work on this project is expected to be completed in spring 2025. The design (pictured) allows for a second pavilion to be added with additional classrooms as growth continues in the future.CGHS FACS RENOVATION
Renovation is underway to the Family and Consumer Sciences area in CGHS. This renovation includes remodeling two existing classrooms (240 & 260) to create a new culinary arts area that would allow more students to follow a Career Pathway (Next Level Program of Studies), a requirement for graduation. The renovation includes new cooking equipment, new HVAC equipment, and new finishes. This project will cost $1,092,290 and will not impact the tax rate for White River Township taxpayers.INSTRUCTIONAL HITTING FACILITY
Construction is underway on an instructional hitting facility for CGHS. This facility will be located on the CGHS campus, just north of the CG IT Center and east of the CGHS football stadium. The building will house instructional hitting space for softball, including three hitting cages, and indoor space for boys and girls golf, including three hitting bays.This facility is one of several projects that will be funded through a GO Bond that totals $6,106,000 and will not impact the tax rate for White River Township taxpayers. The additional projects funded by this bond include the replacement of turf on the Varsity Football Field, relocation of the freshman football field, demolition of the Professional Resource Center, and the addition of a stoplight at Pennington and Morgantown Roads.

CG MS CENTRAL (Renovations, Classroom/LGI Additions)
Construction is underway on a project at CGMSC that will renovate classrooms to Center Grove’s learning space standards, and add 12 classrooms, 2 science rooms, 2 art rooms, and an LGI space for growth. The project will also renovate and expand the cafeteria and kitchen spaces and update furniture throughout the building.
These additions and renovations total $22,300,000 and will not impact the tax rate for White River Township taxpayers. It is expected to be completed by the fall of 2024.

CG MS NORTH (Classroom additions, renovations)
Construction is underway on a project at CGMSN that will add a band room, renovate the current orchestra and music rooms, and expand the cafeteria. This project will also update furniture throughout the building.
This renovation totals $8,500,000 and will not impact the tax rate for White River Township taxpayers. It is expected to be completed this fall.

EMPLOYEE WELLNESS CENTER (New facility)
A new employee wellness center is being constructed along Morgantown Road, across from Center Grove High School. This facility will replace the existing employee wellness center. It will include additional exam rooms with improved design for privacy and lab space to accommodate the district's growing staff, along with mental health consultation rooms, dedicated space for physical therapy, a fitness center, and a classroom for fitness classes, along with an outdoor walking path.
This construction is funded through a GO Bond that totals $6,106,000 and will not impact the tax rate for White River Township taxpayers. The bond will also fund other items including the purchase of school buses, and other miscellaneous facility improvements.

SUGAR GROVE ES (Addition and renovations)
Construction is underway on the Sugar Grove Elementary renovation. This second phase will relate the gymnasium to the south side of the building to allow for the expansion of the cafeteria. The existing gymnasium will be converted into a Large Group Instruction (LGI) space. The project also includes the addition of security cameras, renovation of the administrative offices and classrooms and spaces that were not included in phase 1, and additional playground space.
The project will cost $10,600,000 and will not impact the tax rate for White River Township taxpayers. Work on this project is expected to be completed in fall of 2024.
