    Mr. Doyle's Education and Family

    Mr. Doyle received his Bachelors Degree from Ball State University in Muncie, IN and his Masters Degree from IUPUI in Indianapolis, IN. This is Mr. Doyle's 15th year at Maple Grove. He was the physical education teacher at North Grove Elementary School for 12 years before coming to MG and has been teaching for a total of 30 years.

    Coach Doyle currently coaches the Center Grove Central boys golf team. He was the Assistant Varsity Baseball Coach for Center Grove High School for 18 years. He gives private baseball lessons at Next Level Training and also gives Athletic Development Training (ADT) lessons. Coach Doyle is married to Debbie and they have 5 children between them, Jade(26), Nicole(24), Lucas(23), Jake(23), and Parker(19). Debbie works for ELi Lilly. Jade got his Associates Degree from Ancilla Junior College in 2017 and also was on the baseball team there. He graduated from Purdue NorthWest University in 2019 studying nursing and played baseball as well...Jade is a RN at Riley Hospital. Nicole is a RN in Lexington, Kentucky. Lucas is a Senior at IWU studying math education and playing on the football team. Jake is also a Senior at Purdue studying chemical engineering. Parker is a freshman at Indiana State University also on the Track and Field team. Coach Doyle and his family are active members of Mount Pleasant Christian Church and Dye's Walk Country Club.

    Mr.Doyle and Sports

    Mr. Doyle played football, basketball, and baseball all 4 years in high school. He was drafted out of high school by the Boston Red Sox Organization. After his career was cut short by a leg injury he went on to play football at Ball State University. Also, while at Ball State, Mr. Doyle was a Martial Arts instructor in Taekwondo...he currently holds his 2nd degree Black Belt. Mr. Doyle was very active in coaching his three boys in all different sports. Mr. Doyle is also a professional scout for the Texas Rangers. If he had his choice on an off day he would choose to play golf or fish.

    To instill in the students the importance of lifelong fitness through a variety of activities. Always treat others the way they would want to be treated. HAVE FUN!!!
