I received my Education degree from Indiana University in 1988. I have taught 30 years with 23 years teaching special education and 7 years in 2nd grade. I was a stay-at-home mom for a few years. I received my School Counseling degree from Butler University in 1995. Most of my teaching experience is in Indiana with the exception of 1 year in New York City. In addition, I was a school counselor for 3 years. I have been teaching at North Grove for 19 years, which has become my second family. I am a life long learner, and continue to attend classes, conferences and workshops.
I am blessed with a 24 year old son, David, who went to North Grove and graduated Center Grove High School in 2014. He graduated from Indiana University in Bloomington in 2018. My son now lives in Ohio working as a software engineer. I enjoy the outdoors, especially: camping, hiking, fishing and horseback riding!
