Mission Statement

The mission of Center Grove's special educators is to have an active partnership with all school personnel, students and the community. We will nurture individuals, who value themselves and others and provide an educational foundation that enables students to have the ability to think, communicate, create and apply their learning experiences throughout their lifetime.

Our vision is a Special Education system where every student receives the support they need to access meaningful learning, every family feels valued as a partner, and every staff member feels empowered to make a difference.

School-Aged Child
Any individual (ie: parent, teacher, principal) suspecting that a child has a communication or academic disability that could possibly require special education services should contact their child's teacher, school counselor or building principal to discuss options.

Preschool-Aged Child 
If the child is preschool age (3-5 years of age) and you suspect he/she may have developmental delays, please contact the Special Services Secretary at (317) 881-9326.
