The purpose of the Center Grove's social media pages is to further the school’s vision and mission, support student learning and staff professional development, and enhance communication with students, parents/guardians, staff and community members. Users are expected to use the site only for those purposes.

CGCSC maintains that by creating social media accounts and allowing for public comment, the pages are not intended to create a limited public forum or otherwise guarantee an individual’s right to free speech. Any views and comments expressed by users of the platforms are those of the users and do not necessarily reflect the views of the corporation. Any user’s reference to a specific commercial product or service does not imply endorsement or recommendation of that product or service the corporation. All site users are personally responsible for the content of their posts and the corporation is not responsible for the content of external online platforms. Users are expected to communicate in a respectful, courteous and professional manner.

These platform pages are regularly monitored and any inappropriate posts will be promptly removed. Improper posts include those that are obscene, libelous, or so incites students to unlawful acts on school premises, violate school rules, or cause substantial disruption of the school’s operation. This may also pertain to posts that are not related to the stated purpose of the site, including, but not limited to, comments of a commercial nature, political activity, and comments that constitute discrimination or harassment.
