POSITIVE COVID-19 TEST

  • If your student tests positive for COVID, revised guidance from the CDC (March 2024) indicates he/she should isolate while symptoms are present, per CGCSC's illness guidelines. 
  • The student can return to school once he/she is fever-free for 24 hours without the use of medication.
  • For the absence to be excused, a student will need to provide a doctor’s note, as with all other illnesses.
