Being an educator is something very special, having the opportunity to actively contribute to the development of young minds is my passion. I have a deep commitment to see growth in my kids day after day and year after year. Moreover, I cherish the opportunity to grow alongside my colleagues. We are all lifelong learners, and there's no better source of knowledge and wisdom than those who share our professional experiences on a daily basis. In an ever-changing world, the ability to adapt and continuously acquire new knowledge and skills is essential for providing the best possible support to my students, this is why it is imperative to be a lifelong learner. I truly believe that getting to know my students on a personal level is a recipe for success. I get new kids every year and it is so important to build strong relationships with them to foster trust and create a conducive learning environment to where they feel valued and supported. I have become a better teacher by seeing my students outside of our four walls. I can see their passions outside of school and bring those into the classroom for a more engaging and enriching experience for them. I am genuinely passionate about my profession, and I am grateful every day for the opportunity to collaborate with like-minded colleagues. Together, we support all our students on their journey to becoming the individuals they are meant to be. I take pride in maintaining connections with families even after their time in my classroom has ended. Attending their events and witnessing their growth brings me immense joy. I believe it's essential, as someone who supports them, to continue checking in and ensuring their well-being even beyond our time together in the classroom.
