To me, teaching is important because:

Teaching is important because teachers are the key to reaching all children and developing lifelong learners who love learning, in and out of school, and beyond the formal training of school.  Children enter school as explorers full of questions. Teaching is important because it affords teachers the opportunity to cultivate and grow each and every explorer, their capability to think and question, and their drive to take risks; therefore, developing successful members of society who seek to learn in all facets of life.
