•  ATHLETICS EVENTS & INFORMATION  

    Congrats from the Weekend to the: 

    • Girls Tennis Team, for their win vs. Oldenburg Academy on Friday night at Home, 5-0.  Our Lady Trojans are now 9-2.  Good luck this week vs. Bloomington North and at the MIC Tournament.     
    • Girls Track & Field Team, for winning the MIC Championship on Friday night at Pike HS.  This is the 2nd MIC title for our Girls Track & Field team with the 1st one earned in the Spring of 2012.  Individual Champions:  Bella Hodges (800 Meters),  Makensie Kramer (100 Hurdles),  Taylor Jarosinski  (Pole Vault) and Shelby Wingler (Shot Put).  Good luck this week at the Pike Relays. 
    • Boys Track & Field Team, for finishing as MIC Runners-Up on Friday night at Pike HS.  This matches the best finish for the Boys Track & Field team in the MIC, with the other Runner-up finish in the Spring of 2015.  Individual MIC Champions:  Brandon Wheat (200 Meters),  400 Relay (Brandon Wheat, Connor Delp, Micah Coyle, Drew Wheat) and the 3200 Relay (Raef Sauer, Christian Antal, Kyle Montgomery, Jarret Rockwell).  Good luck this week at the Pike Relays. 
    • Boys Golf Team (White), for winning the Bedford North Lawrence Invitational on Saturday at Otis Park GC, with a low team score of 311.  Low round for our Trojans was turned in by Sam Hord, who tied for 2nd place with a 74.  Good luck this week at the MIC Tournament, vs. Franklin & Columbus North, at the Bloomington North Invitational and at the State Preview Tournament.

    The CGHS Athletic Department is implementing new Physical documentation procedures for the 2021-2022 school year.

    Forms must be completed electronically prior to the physical appointment; at

    There are 2 forms to complete online.  Parents/students will need to know Student ID number to complete forms online.:

    1. Concussion and Sudden Cardiac Arrest Acknowledgment

    **  Must first read “Heads Up Concussion” Fact Sheet for Athletes anParents

    **  Must first read “Sudden Cardiac Arrest” Fact Sheet for Athletes and Parents. 

    2. Consent to Treat (contains emergency contact info) & HIPAA Authorization Form

    PLEASE PRINT and COMPLETE THE ENTIRE IHSAA Preparticipation Physical Form and RETURN to the Athletic Office prior to participation in any IHSAA sport for the 2021 - 2022 season.  Week 1 begins July 5, 2021.
