• The following dismissal procedures are for the safety of our students. We truly appreciate your efforts in keeping our school safe and secure.

    Dismissal is 3:45pm (3:00pm on Wednesdays)

    • Students may be dropped off NO EARLIER than 8:40 a.m. unless they particpate in Honey Grove.

    • Students must be in the building before the 9:00 a.m. bell, or they will be considered tardy and will need to get a tardy slip from the office before entering the classroom.

    • Students are to be dropped off at Door 10 on the Northwest side of the school by the canopy.

    • If you choose to drop off your child, please drive as far as possible along the sidewalk. Students are to exit the vehicle from the passenger side only. For the safety of all students, students are not allowed to cross to or from the parking lot unescorted.
    • If you choose to escort your child into the school, please find an open parking spot in the front of the school and walk them to the main entrance. Do not park in the "Reserved Parking" spots as these are for office staff who may be coming and going during school hours.
    • There should be NO parking or student drop off along the curb in front of the school. This space is reserved for our student bus drop off and pick up only.

    • Please be sure to send in a note with your child if you plan to pick him/her up from school. This should include the student's name, room number or teacher and who will be picking the student up. 

    • You must park and go into the cafeteria to pick up your student at the end of the day.

    • All students MUST be checked out through the cafeteria. You MUST show your Photo I.D. to pick up your student.

    • The office must also have a note on file for students going to daycare after school, as well as, those participating in the Honey Grove after school program.

    Early Pick Up

    • If you need to pick up our child early from school and forget to send a note, please notify us of your intention no later than 3:00 p.m. (2:00 p.m. on Wednesdays).

    • Be sure to do this by calling the office. The office staff will notify the teacher as teachers may not check their email until after school dismisses.
