Transfer Application Information

2026-27 SCHOOL YEAR

 Center Grove welcomes students from outside of the district to enroll!

Students who wish to transfer into Center Grove Schools from another school district (Inter-District Transfer) or transfer to a school to which they are not assigned within Center Grove Schools (Intra-District Transfer) must complete an online application. Links to intra-district and inter-district transfer applications will be posted on the homepages of the Center Grove Community School Corporation website, as well this page, during the time periods listed below.

Intra-District Transfer Applications (Within District Transfers)*
Application dates: Sunday, April 5, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. - Friday, April 10, 2026, at 11:59 p.m.
Any Center Grove students who wish to transfer from their assigned schools may submit an intra-district transfer application.

Inter-District Transfer Applications (Out-of-District Transfers)*
Application dates: Sunday, April 19, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. - Monday, May 11, 2026, at 11:59 p.m.
Students who do not reside within Center Grove’s boundaries may submit an inter-district transfer application to request to attend a Center Grove school.

* Dates are tentative until approved by the CGCSC Board of School Trustees in the spring.

TRANSFER APPLICATION GUIDELINES

• Applications must be submitted online before the deadline in order to receive the highest priority for consideration.
• Applications are only for one school year, must be filled out for each child, and must be resubmitted each year.
• All applications will be considered on a case-by-case basis. 
• It is possible that NOT all applications will be approved due to several considerations, including building capacity and class size.
• All applications will be date/time stamped upon submission and will be processed in the order in which they are received.
• By submitting an application, parents agree to provide their own transportation to and from school for the duration of the school year.
• If attendance or discipline becomes an issue, a transfer student may be directed to return to their home school.
