April 12, 2026 - Center Grove High School’s Culinary Arts Program had an incredible showing at the SkillsUSA Indiana State Leadership & Skills Conference on April 11th at the Indiana State Fairgrounds.

Ruth Lieb earned 1st place in Baking & Pastry Arts and will advance to represent Indiana at the SkillsUSA National Leadership and Skills Conference in June in Atlanta, GA. Alex Davis earned 3rd place in Restaurant Service and was selected as a SkillsUSA Indiana State Officer.

These students are under the guidance of CGHS chef instructors Kyle Bulfer and Susanne Grier.
