February 22, 2026 - CGHS Girls Basketball captured its first Semi-State championship since 1996, the second in school history, with a 29-26 win over Lawrence Central in the Class 4A Final Four at Jasper. Center Grove (28–0) is the only undefeated team in Indiana. They will take on the Norwell Knights in the State Championship at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis on Saturday, February 28th, at 8:15 PM. The CGHS head coach is Kevin Stuckmeyer.
