March 8, 2026 - Center Grove High School senior Ella Timmons was recognized as the school’s DAR Good Citizen during the Mary Bryan Chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution Good Citizen Awards Night on March 2nd. The DAR Good Citizen Award honors seniors who demonstrate outstanding qualities of dependability, service, leadership, and patriotism in their homes, schools, and communities. As part of the program, students also respond to a nationally selected essay prompt, which for 2025–2026 was “Our American Heritage and Our Responsibility for Preserving It.” Each accredited high school may select only one senior each year for this recognition.
