April 12, 2026 - Five Center Grove High School students earned Judge Awards at the 28th Annual Mabel B. Annis Memorial Student Art Competition, hosted by the Brown County Art Gallery in Nashville, Indiana. Jessie Anness, Isaac Banks, Harishat Kaur, Chloe Farmer, and Kylie-Ann Rader competed against students from more than 23 schools across seven surrounding counties.

The Mabel B. Annis Memorial Student Art Competition has been held at the Brown County Art Gallery for 28 years, with the Annis Memorial Trust providing over $14,000 in prize money annually to give students the opportunity to compete, exhibit their work, and potentially sell pieces in a professional gallery setting. Each winner receives $150.
