Two Center Grove schools honored for IREAD success

April 12, 2026 - Center Grove Elementary and Sugar Grove Elementary were honored at the Statehouse by the Indiana Department of Education for achieving a 95% or higher pass rate on the 2025 IREAD assessment.

Center Grove Elementary School: 96.6%

Sugar Grove Elementary School: 96.5%

CGES Principal Lori Green and teacher Alee Rochner along with SGES Principal Ali Mills-Allen and teachers Susan Henninger and Hope Webster accepted the honors on behalf of all of the students, staff, and families who have worked hard to achieve their literacy goals.
