Construction of the Center Grove Innovation Center was divided into two phases. The first phase involved renovation of the existing facility. The second phase included the addition of the collaboration areas and STEM Labs. Both phases were completed for the start of the 2016-17 school year.

The Center Grove Board of School Trustees approved a bid from J.M. Rowland Construction in the amount of $1,999,000 for the project. Funding for that bid will be obtained through a General Obligation bond. In August 2015, the Board approved a recommendation by CSO Architects to modify the project and exclude some items that could eliminated without compromising the integrity or original design of the project. These changes reduced the project cost by $99,175, which brought the cost down to $1,899,825.
In August, Endress+Hauser, Inc. made a generous donation of $10,000 to the Center Grove Education Foundation to help fund the development of STEM programs in Center Grove, including the new Center Grove Innovation Center, Center Grove’s award-winning Red Alert Robotics Team, and other programs.

“It is critical for employers and leaders in the community to partner with our educators and the myriad of adult influencers to encourage the highest quality STEM education,” said Brandyn Ferguson, vice president of human resources, Endress+Hauser, Inc.
