TRANSPORTATION
-
Center Grove will offer bus service to all students who live in White River Township and attend their assigned schools.
Bus Precautions:
- Students and staff are required to wear face coverings while on the bus.
- Students will be assigned seats.
- Students will receive a bus ticket (per school handbooks) if they remove their face covering while on the bus.
- Bus capacity for middle and high school routes will be around 52 students.
- Bus capacity for elementary school routes will be around 60-65 students.
-
- Summer: All buses were deep cleaned June 1-June 12, 2020. Following the deep clean, buses were treated with TB-Cide and marked disinfected.
- At the end of July we will have every bus treated with the Monofoil system. Monofoil puts a barrier on all surfaces that will kill viruses and bacteria on contact. This is supposed to last up to 6 months. The treatment will be re-applied over Thanksgiving and Spring Break.
- Daily: Drivers will be given a bottle of Oxivir Five 16 to sanitize their buses after morning and afternoon routes and wipe down all touchpoints.
- Weekly: Once a week (and as needed), drivers will spray and wipe down the entire bus. Buses will be disinfected once a week with Oxivir Five 16 using the electrostatic sprayer.
- If a passenger or driver tests positive for COVID-19: The affected bus will immediately be pulled out of service. After a 24-hour waiting period, the bus will be disinfected through the following process: Use Envirox to spray and wipe down the entire vehicle. Apply Oxivir Five 16 to the entire bus with an electrostatic sprayer. Once these processes are complete, the bus can be returned to service.
