FOOD SERVICE SUBSTITUTE APPLICATION
In order to be a Food Service Substitute for Center Grove Community School Corporation, you are required to follow the procedures listed below.
First, complete an online application which will be reviewed by the Center Grove Food Service Department. Applicants will be contacted for an interview. Once selected as a Food Service Substitute, Human Resources will contact you to come in and fill out paperwork and pay $31.50 for a complete background check. You will be added to the Food Service Substitute list upon completion of the required paperwork.
Substitutes are called on an as needed basis, but will remain on the active substitution list unless notified by the Food Service Department or if you choose to be removed from the list.You will need to contact the Human Resource Department and send a letter in writing if you wish to be removed from the list.
This shall not be an agreement of guaranteed employment at anytime. Substitutes are considered on call as needed only.
The Center Grove Community School Corporation only accepts online applications. It is the applicant's responsibility to upload/attach all required documents.

Advantages of the online application process:
- You have the ability to update your application whenever necessary.
- You will be able to select the position(s) for which you wish to apply with a click of a button. Your information will automatically be forwarded to the person selecting candidates to be interviewed.
- The online application process is e-mail driven. If your e-mail address changes, you must update your application or you will not receive status notifications from the corporation.
