For the last 2 years, Landon has placed close to 3000 flags on the graves of veterans in Johnson County. He started what he calls the “No Fallen Soldiers Left Behind” project using his own money.

Center Grove High School is a finalist in the 10th annual Samsung "Solve for Tomorrow Contest." The contest is a nationwide competition that encourages students in grades 6-12 to creatively use STEM skills to solve a community challenge.

CGHS recognizes 351 students for AP test successes
Center Grove High School (CGHS) honored 218 current students who scored at least a 3 on an Advanced Placement (AP) test for courses they completed during the 2018-19 school year. Students received a certificate commemorating their accomplishment. One-hundred-33 2019 graduates also scored above a 3 during the 2018-19 school year.

Memorial dedicated for CGCSC Students and Staff
Center Grove dedicated a Student and Staff Memorial on Thursday, August 15th. The memorial was designed and constructed under the leadership of Richard "Richie" Arkanoff II, a Center Grove High School senior and member of the Center Grove Boy Scout Troop 245, as an Eagle Scout Project.
