Hoover named Assistant Superintendent for Teaching & Learning


(January 4, 2018) Nora Hoover has been named the next Assistant Superintendent for Teaching & Learning. She has served as the Executive Director of Human Resources for Center Grove since October of 2016. Before moving into that role, she was Assistant Director of Secondary Curriculum. She was principal of Center Grove Middle School Central for two years and assistant principal for nine years. Nora was also an Assistant Principal at East Central High School in St. Leon, IN and a teacher at Central Noble High School in Albion, IN. 

"Nora's leadership and curriculum experience as a building principal and as assistant director of secondary curriculum in Center Grove have provided her with the unique qualifications necessary to take on this important role," said Dr. Arkanoff. "She has high expectations for herself and her staff and is passionate about educating all students. I am confident that she will be an effective and collaborative leader and continue Jack's great work in our Teaching and Learning Department."

Nora received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Franklin College and Master of Science in Administration from Indiana University. Nora is currently pursuing her PhD in Educational Administration from Indiana State University. She is also a graduate of the Indiana Principal Leadership Institute.
