Taylor named Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources and Technology

na (January 4, 2018) Jason Taylor will be named Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources and Technology for Center Grove. Jason's appointment is pending approval from the CGCSC Board of School Trustees at its January 3, 2019 meeting.
Jason will take over the Human Resources duties previously held by Nora Hoover in her role as Executive Director of Human Resources. Jason's role as Chief Technology Officer will not be filled. Instead, part of the Technology Department will be restructured to shift supervision of staff dedicated to educational technology into the Department of Teaching & Learning. Jason will retain oversight of the technology infrastructure and data management divisions of the Technology Department. 
"I am confident that Jason will continue the high quality of service our employees have come to trust from our Human Resources Department, while continuing the strong administrative oversight of technology infrastructure and data management," said Dr. Rich Arkanoff, superintendent. 
Jason brings 13 years of district leadership experience. He has served as Chief Technology Officer of Center Grove Schools since June of 2014. He has also lead technology efforts in the Monroe County Community School Corporation and served as Center Grove's Data Integration Manager. He holds a bachelor's degree in Education from Franklin College and two master's degrees from Indiana University in Educational Technology and in Strategic Management from the Kelley School of Business. Jason is currently pursuing an Ed.D. from IU.
