Alexander, Hubbard, Russell Sworn in to New Terms; Tumey Named President of CGCSC Board

(January 7, 2018) Greenwood Mayor Mark Myers presided over the swearing-in ceremony of Scott Alexander, Joe Hubbard, and Jack Russell, to the Center Grove Board of School Trustees at the Board's first meeting of 2019 on Thursday, January 3rd.

Scott Alexander and Jack Russell were both sworn into their third terms with the Board. This is Joe Hubbard's first term on the Board. Joe is a 1990 graduate of Mooresville High School. He is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, serving from 1991 to 1998. He served as a Fuel Specialist for four years at Kadena AFB in Okinawa, Japan and four years at Nellis AFB in Las Vegas, NV. Joe owns his own businesses, ATM Indy and ATMs for Veterans, which donates a percentage of profits to local fraternal organizations which help Indiana veterans. He spent 13 years at Eli Lilly and Company as a supervisor in manufacturing. He has also owned multiple restaurants throughout the Central Indiana area.
Joe and his wife, Brittney, have two daughters, Alison and Kaylee, who attend Center Grove schools. He enjoys going to church, working out, building and riding motorcycles, and collecting cars.
 
The Board also chose officers for 2019. Carol Tumey was named to succeed Scott Alexander as President of the Board. Carol is in her third term on the Board. Rob Daniels was named Vice President. He is in his first term on the Board. Jack Russell was elected Secretary of the Board.
