CGHS HOSA members advance to Internationals

CGHS HOSA 2019
 
(April 18, 2019) - Center Grove High School HOSA students had 26 of their 43 members finish in the Top 10 of their event at their annual State Leadership Conference April 16-18 in Indianapolis. Nine students qualified to compete at Internationals in Orlando, Florida. Two placed third in State, four took home a second place medal, and 3 became state champions taking home a gold medal and around $10,000 in scholarship money.

  • Isha Sura:  Researched persuasive writing and speaking (Marian University Scholarship)
  • David Pham: Sports Medicine (Johnson and Wales & Marian University Scholarships)
  • Anna Puderbaugh: Biomedical Laboratory Science (Johnson and Wales Scholarship)
Second Place & State Runner-up
  • Ava Fisher: Pharmacy Science
  • Kaitlyn Seip: Pathophysiology
  • Brooklyn Hornaday & Sarrah Mander: Forensic Science
3rd Place
  • Ava Fisher: Researched persuasive writing and speaking
