Liam Price Shining Star
Superintendent Rich Arkanoff, Cindy, Liam, & Jon Price

(May 31, 2020) - Center Grove High School senior Liam Price received the Shining Star award from the Board of School Trustees at its May 26th meeting.

Liam was one of 14 students from across the country, chosen as a U.S. Youth Ambassador for Special Olympics. He has spoken to thousands of students at Champions Together Rally events. He is passionate about sharing his personal story and helping them understand the impact unified sports had in his life and can have in other students' lives. This mission and passion even led him to Capitol Hill where he advocated for more state funding for programs and school initiatives directed towards full inclusion for individuals with intellectual disabilities. Liam puts others first and does what he can to make others feel good and make Center Grove - and beyond - a better place.

Liam will attend the University of Indianapolis this fall where he was awarded the Senator Richard Lugar Academic Recognition Scholarship.
