(May 3, 2021) - Center Grove High School varsity football coach Eric Moore is one of four coaches selected by the Indiana Football Coaches Association to be inducted into the Indiana Football Hall of Fame.

Moore came to CGHS in 1999 after spending 13 years in Florida at Charlotte H.S. Since 1999, he has led CGHS to a record of 210-72 including three IHSAA State Championships (2008, 2015, 2020), 15 Sectional titles, 14 Regional titles, and six Semi-State Championships. He was the 2021 All-American Bowl Coach of the Year and was named the IFCA Coach of the Year in 2000, 2008 (5A), 2015, 2019, and 2020 (6A). Moore's overall record as a head football coach over 26 years is 258-77 (.770%).

To be considered for the Indiana Football Hall of Fame, a candidate must have contributed in a significant manner to the game of football in Indiana. The candidate may also qualify by virtue of his/her contribution to Indiana football at the junior high/middle school, high school, college, or professional level.
