(April 17, 2022) - Maple Grove Elementary successfully defended its Math Bowl title on Tuesday, April 12. The team competed in the Orange Class of the IASP Indiana MATH Bowl Competition. MGES ranked 14th in the competition and first among Center Grove elementary schools, followed by Walnut Grove, Center Grove, Pleasant Grove, and North Grove.

The competition consists of four rounds with a maximum of five different team members competing in each round. Each round includes eight multiple-choice questions, varying in difficulty. The competition is based on The National Council of Teachers of Mathematics publication Curriculum and Evaluation Standards for School Mathematics. This includes thirteen curriculum standards.
