(February 5, 2023) - Members of Center Grove High School's Red Alert Robotics team joined teams from around the state at the Indiana Statehouse on Wednesday, February 1 for FIRST Day. FIRST, an acronym meaning "For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology," is an international not-for-profit organization created to promote STEM education. Members of FIRST Indiana's Student Board of Directors, including CGHS senior Brinna Porat, also spoke in support of House Bill 1382. The bill provides funding for after school robotics education.
