(March 26, 2023) - The CGCSC Board of School Trustees recognized Center Grove High School junior Charlie LaRocca who won the State Wrestling Championship in the 113 lb. weight class. The Board also recognized the CGHS Wrestling team, Coach Maurice Swain, and his staff for their outstanding season. The team set a record with 12 state qualifiers and a 2nd place finish. Coach Swain was named 2023 4A Coach of the Year by Indiana MAT. The CGHS coaching staff was named 2023 Coaching Staff of the Year.
