(2009) - Congratulations to Nancy Shake of the Art Department for having three of her students win national awards in the 2009 Scholastic Art Awards in New York. They were:

 

Senior Zach Foster –

National Silver Medal in Art Portfolio (There are 84 regions nationally and Zach is the only Art Portfolio Silver Medal in this region)

Senior Krissy Wippermann –

National Silver Medal in Jewelry Design (Only one Silver Medal  was awarded nationally)

Senior Dee Cox –

National Gold Medal in Product Design with her silk painting titled “Goofball #1”

Her art work will be exhibited in New York.  Three National Gold Medals was awarded nationally in Product Design
