(April 17, 2017) - Five Center Grove High School Juniors were chosen for exhibition through the Herron School of Art High School Junior Art Invitational art competition. They are among just 32 honored works of art chosen from the more than 150 statewide entries.

Kim McKenzie's self-portrait was chosen to be the first place recipient. By being chosen as the best of the show, Kim earned a $2000 scholarship to Herron. Paige Braida received third place honors for her ceramic sculpture chess set.

Kaitlyn Petrow, Ezra Baker, and Ily Mulder were also chosen to be a part of the exhibit. The High School Junior Art Exhibit is in one of the Herron art galleries on the IUPUI campus thru April 22.
